In response to the growing need to digitally transform the courses we offer and effectively adapt to the changing landscape of maritime and offshore training, Compass Offshore Inc. would like to inform you that our Dynamic Positioning Induction Course and BOSIET Course are now AVAILABLE ONLINE.
DYNAMIC POSITIONING (DP) ONLINE INDUCTION COURSE
This format was made possible through a provisional training arrangement established and authorized by The Nautical Institute. The arrangement will be a combination of online learning for the theoretical component (Phase 1), practical training using the DP simulator (Phase 2) and online assessment (Phase 3). On completion of the first phase, the participant may choose to board a DP vessel and gain a maximum of 60 days DP sea time, then resume phase 2 and 3 in the training center when the situation permits.
DIGITAL BASIC OFFSHORE SAFETY INDUCTION AND EMERGENCY TRAINING (D-BOSIET)
This digital delivery of the OPITO Approved BOSIET course provides an alternative method of learning the theory elements of the training via a smartphone, desktop computer, laptop or tablet prior to the 1 day intensive practical training which is delivered at COMPASS Offshore‘s practical site within 90 days of completing the online component.
